Intervention
Consultation is provided face to face or via Telehealth where necessary / preferred.
Charl provides intervention services for children of all ages as well as parent training where needed.
Rebates for most intervention services can be accessed through a referred under a GP Mental Health Care Plan or a relevant referral from a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
Early Childhood Developmental Learning Target Programmes (0-5 years)
With every developmental assessment completed, we offer a programme of learning target activities based on expected developmental milestones, but tailored to the specific needs of your child. These programmes are written in easy to understand language and focus on activities that families can practice at home without the need of specialised equipment.
Our programmes may cover any developmental area as identified through the assessment findings. These include: Gross Motor, Language & Communication, Social & Adaptive and Performance/Cognitive. All our programmes draw from evidence based early childhood intervention research, yet are tailored to the individual needs of your child.
Individual Therapy for children and adolescents
We offer individual therapy for a range of childhood issues including:
